Site Overview
The Aviation Zone was created by Mike Neely and launched on 15 October
1997. It started out small but progressed quickly during its first year on the web.
By the end of 1998, the site was using three different "free" web servers to accommodate all of the data and photo images
that had been collected...and it was becoming a real nightmare to maintain. So, on 18 February 1999, the TheAviationZone.com* domain was registered and the site was moved over to a "commercial" web server.
